Foremen are invited to join us for an AI Summit on May 6 — a hands-on training built specifically for our industry. Led by Eric Anderton (Construction Genius) and Dylon Davis (Gradient Labs AI), this session is designed to give you practical, real-world skills you can put to work right away.
This training is focused on daily reports, material lists and RFIs. Dinner is included. The training works best when you use your own real work.
Here's what to bring:
1. Your laptop or mobile device with your AI tool ready to go.
2. A recent material list or takeoff you already finished by hand, along with the drawing or plan sheet you worked from (PDF or photo on your phone is fine).
3. An RFI you already submitted, plus any drawings or photos that were attached.
Don't have these? No problem — we'll have practice examples available.
SMACNA-Western Washington is pleased to offer specialized Foreman Upgrade Training. This training aligns with the terms outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and supports professional development for Foremen and Lead Foremen in our industry.
Upon annual completion of sixteen (16) hours of continuing education certified by the JATC, eligible foremen may increase their wage to 12.5% and lead foremen may increase their wage to 17.5%. Please email admin@smacnaww.org for a copy of the full policy.
