Taking Flight with DISC is a dynamic, highly engaging training experience that transforms traditional personality-style learning into a memorable, action-oriented journey. Using the powerful metaphor of four birds — eagles, parrots, doves and owls — the program builds self-awareness while equipping participants to accurately read others and flex their behavior in real time. Through interactive activities, visual learning and practical application, participants gain insight into their strengths, avoid overusing them and improve communication, teamwork and organizational culture. The result is stronger relationships, more effective leadership and a shared language that becomes embedded in everyday work practices.
SMACNA-Western Washington is pleased to offer specialized Foreman Upgrade Training. This training aligns with the terms outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and supports professional development for Foremen and Lead Foremen in our industry.
Upon annual completion of sixteen (16) hours of continuing education certified by the JATC, eligible foremen may increase their wage to 12.5% and lead foremen may increase their wage to 17.5%. Please email admin@smacnaww.org for a copy of the full policy.
